My name is Jasmin Igglesden, co-founder of MyDressbox, and I'd like to share a little of my story with you.  I have been a bridal dressmaker for over 15 years, and as a stockist of Essense gowns at my store in New Zealand, I started cleaning Essense and Stella York wedding gowns in 2006.

I wanted to branch out of specialising in Essense gowns and - with modern, reliable courier services with parcel tracking, I realised we could offer brides more convenience.  As a bridal shop owner and dressmaker, I was asked regularly about where to clean wedding dresses and I wanted to provide a service for all brides - not just the ones that purchased from my store.  So in 2016, I launched MyDressbox Online Wedding Dress Cleaning Specialists.

It has been well received in New Zealand, and in 2018 we launched MyDressbox in Australia. I have now moved to Melbourne with my husband and three boys to be able to focus on it full time.

We've Got You Covered

We know it can be scary for Brides to send their beautiful, valuable gowns across town and country, so we only send MyDressbox gowns on signature required courier.  Couriers are so reliable these days (when was the last time you had a gown go missing on way from your suppliers?) but for Peace of Mind, we include premium in-transit wedding dress insurance with all our dresses up to the value of AUD$10,000.

Happily Ever After, and then a MyDressbox Before and After

After the gown has it's big outing and the bride her Happily Ever After, the wedding dress comes to us for a little honeymoon of its own.  We carefully process all our gowns by hand, and because we're also dressmakers, we undertake any necessary minor repairs too!

Depending on your requirements, we can return stock dresses to you in provided garment bags or in boxes. You can choose whether to be involved in the process of cleaning your brides dresses, or let us take care of it for your entirely, simply paying you commission on MyDressboxes ordered.
